A proud silhouette, distilled to essentials.

The first time I saw a griffon vulture in the wild, I was in Andalusia. I will always remember the sense of wonder. But it is possible to encounter them in Italy, too, at Lake Cornino for instance, or in Bosa, Sardinia. Here, I enjoyed recreating the bird in a minimalist, pared-down style that captures its distinctive features, even on a small scale.
